The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in European Union law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union.
The purpose of the GDPR is to give people control over their personal data. The regulation becomes enforceable on May 25th 2018.
No, we have not sold your info to anyone. The only party that has been given access to your information is the race director. In very few instances we may have used your name and birthday to check with the relevant federation to see if you have an active license, but otherwise your information has remained only with us.
ToppTid provides two types of services where we collect and process your data: 1) Online registration and 2) Result service
For online registration have we require some basic information - name, birthday, citizenship, telephone number and gender.
These fields are necessary for the creation of the result lists, provided as part of our second main service, and so that the race can contact you with relevant race information via email or sms and or contact you in case of a medical issue during the competition. Occasionally the race organizer will require that we registrer additional information that they require in order to participate in the competition.
For example, if you have a license or are a member of Kondis.
For our result service we utilize the informatin provided during registration to provide result lists that can be sorted in a variety of ways, for example, by age group, by country, by gender, etc.
ToppTid does not share or sell your contact information with third parties.
As part of the GDPR you have, among others:
-The right to see what information we have about you (Right of Access, Article 15)
-The right to request that we delete the information we have about you (Right to Erasure, Article 17)
